The Bull's Grief

Perhaps you're familiar with the Minotaur and it's always a negative association. I was thinking of an 'alternative ending,' where Perseus doesn't kill the beast (by strangling him from behind btw) out of pity. Through the red thread, the Minotaur eventually found his way out of the labyrinth and cultivated a kind of friendship with the distant hero.
